WHAT DOES A LIFE CHANGED BY GOD LOOK LIKE?

WHAT DOES A LIFE CHANGED BY GOD LOOK LIKE? Good question. Some people go on about God, but their lives seem to be anything but an advertisement for God. They may see God as a impersonal force that needs to be channelled in positive ways- but in the end they are just as selfish and deluded as the next person. There  are some religious people where their religion highlights and exacerbates problems they have- they become even more superstitious and irrational than they would be without their talk of “God”. Or  ”God” talk becomes a thin veneer for popular self-help programmes where the main aim is to get more.

Needless to say, I don’t believe all talk about God falls into this category. (Although quite a bit does). The God of the Bible changes people- He does that by speaking realistically about the brokenness of life, but also the power of Forgiveness and Mercy. He offers the ultimate forgiveness in Jesus Christ. That is meant to be more than a mantra, but a transforming truth which does see lives changed. Do you want to find out more?
