Congratulations on your engagement!  Getting married is an exciting time for any couple, and we look forward to assisting you with your arrangements.

If you would like to get married at Rouse Hill Anglican, make an appointment to see us soon. We would like to prepare you well for a lifetime commitment. The minister conducts your service of Marriage in accordance with the rites set down by the Anglican Diocese of Sydney, and will happily work with you to tailor the proceedings to be meaningful and memorable.

Weddings can be held in either the 80 seat heritage Christ Church, built in 1863 and recently renovated, or the new purpose-built Ministry and Education Centre which can seat 220 people.

Do we have to be Anglican?

No, but at least one person must be baptised.  We do encourage you to turn to Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour and we would love to chat with you about that.

Both Christ Church and the Ministry and Education Centre have sound systems in place for your wedding music.  During the planning with our minister, he can help you to include music as part of your ceremony.

We are happy for you to arrange for a photographer and/or video camera operator to record your special day.  We do request that they respect the sanctity of the wedding ceremony and do so in an unobtrusive way.  Camera flashes should only be used as you enter and leave the church, and for the signing of the documents.

We ask that no confetti, rice or lollies be thrown.  Rose petals and bubbles once outside of the church building are fine.

Wedding Costs

We do ask for a contribution for weddings undertaken at Rouse Hill Anglican.  Currently this amount is $600.

How do I arrange a wedding?

To enquire about arranging your wedding, or for any further information, please contact us at the church office.  We will then arrange a time to help plan your wedding.
