External Mission

Because the love of Jesus Christ changes lives, Rouse Hill Anglican Church seeks to make and grow followers of Jesus Christ who serve Jesus and others, and who reach out with His love to Sydney’s Northwest and beyond.

Beyond our immediate local area, we also seek to make and grow followers through a number of link missionaries.

CMS Missionaries: The Lovells in Valencia, Spain

We are a link church for John & Jodi who moved with their children to Spain in late 2010 as CMS Missionaries. As a link church we help to support the Lovell family: financially, through prayer, and by just staying in touch.

We thank God for the work that they are doing in their local community in Valencia and we pray for them as they spread the gospel and help to bring people into a meaningful Christian faith by putting their trust in Jesus Christ.

If you want to hear more about what John and Jodi are up to, you can visit their home page at the CMS website and can sign up to receive their prayer points.

City on a Hill Evangelical Church: The Southertons in Wellington, New Zealand

We started helping the Southertons with financial support and prayer in 2014, when they relocated their family from Sydney to New Zealand to plant an evangelical church in the New Zealand capital of Wellington.

City on a Hill Evangelical Church is a new church that loves Jesus and loves Wellington. Andrew & Adele hope to share the great news of what God has done for us in Jesus with the city of Wellington in a way that is captivating, engaging and authentic (because following Jesus should be all of these things).

Further information about City on a Hill Evangelical Church can be found on their website and Facebook pages.

Bush Church Aid: The Slacks in Katherine

In 2017, we added the Slack family as link missionary partners. Kristan and Kathryn Slack, with their children Levi, Ezekiel, Jeremiah and Elianah are missionaries with the Bush Church Aid Society (BCA). They moved to Katherine in Australia’s Northern Territory in 2016 where Kristan is now rector of the Anglican Parish of Katherine. Kristan said “My role as rector is to shepherd God’s people and make Christ known to the community.”

The Slacks invite people to head to the BCA website and sign up for their newsletter.

UNSW Campus Bible Study: The Rowe family

During 2016 and 2017 we benefited from and enjoyed the ministry of Tim and Sarah Rowe within our congregations.

Tim and Sarah commenced ministry at the University of NSW in January 2018 with their growing family, and we have been pleased to be able to provide some support to their important ministry.
